Alarm cables for security systems
Eraya produces alarm cables for security and intrusion systems following industry regulations and using the most appropriate materials to comply with installers' standards.
The main requirement of an alarm cable for security systems is the safety of the signal and a mechanical resistance suitable for the installation method.
Another important feature is the possibility of installing alarm and security system cables (low voltage cables) in coexistence with cables already laid and in existing ducts (electrical cables and power cables) - CEI 36762 C-4 (Uo=400V) .

Alarm cables for security and burglar alarm systems must also comply with the construction materials regulation (EU 305/2011) , the so-called CPR (Contnstruction Products Regulation). For security systems in private homes, a low fire reaction (Eca) is sufficient, while for larger buildings (e.g. schools, buildings over 15 metres high, museums, cinemas, shopping centres, etc.) where there is a constant influx and presence of a significant amount of people, a more important fire classification (Cca or B2ca) is required.
